Before you submit
A concise checklist
Prepare the manuscript, its source files, and the declarations needed for a transparent editorial assessment.
Written in English
Use clear academic English and include an informative abstract, keywords, and MSC codes.
Prepared in TeX
TeX source is expected. Follow the structure and typographic conventions of recent JCA papers.
Complete authorship
List every accountable author, identify the corresponding author, and describe each author’s contribution.
Full declarations
Disclose funding, competing interests, related manuscripts, preprints, and any substantive use of AI tools.
Verifiable materials
Include data, code, ethics, permissions, and image-integrity information whenever it is relevant to the work.
Submission package
What to send
Send one complete email to the Editorial Office. Use a clear subject line containing the manuscript title and identify the corresponding author in the message.
Prepare submission emailManuscript and source
A readable manuscript together with the TeX source, bibliography, and each figure or other source asset needed to compile it.
Scholarly metadata
Title, concise abstract, keywords, current Mathematics Subject Classification codes, complete author names, affiliations, and contact details.
Author statement
A contribution statement, confirmation that all authors approved the submission, and the name and email address of the corresponding author.
Integrity declarations
Competing interests and funding; data or code availability; ethics approval and consent where relevant; AI-tool use; related work, preprints, and required permissions.
Editorial workflow
From manuscript
to publication.
Submissions first receive an editorial assessment. Suitable manuscripts are then evaluated by independent subject specialists, and the publisher completes final formatting after acceptance.

Email the complete submission
Send the manuscript, source materials, author details, and all applicable declarations to the Editorial Office.

Editorial assessment
A Managing Editor checks subject fit, originality, policy compliance, and readiness for independent review.

Independent peer review
Qualified subject specialists evaluate the mathematical contribution, correctness, originality, and presentation. A request for revision is not a promise of acceptance.

Decision and production
The handling editor considers the reports and manuscript before the editorial decision. After acceptance, Heldermann Verlag completes final formatting.
Author responsibilities
Before final submission
Originality, preprints, and related work
The work must not be published or under review by another journal. A disclosed preprint does not prevent consideration. Cite and explain any thesis, conference version, translation, working paper, or closely related manuscript so the editor can assess overlap.
Authorship, interests, data, and AI
Confirm that the author list is complete and approved, describe contributions, and provide explicit statements on competing interests, funding, data or code availability, relevant research ethics, and substantive AI-tool use. The full requirements and procedures are set out in the Publication Ethics policy.
Manuscript layout and permissions
Choose a layout consistent with recently published papers. Check every citation, theorem, formula, and figure, label composites clearly, and obtain written permission for third-party material. Final formatting is handled by the publisher.
Copyright, fees, and author copies
The current journal guidance states that reproduction rights pass to Heldermann Verlag upon acceptance and that there is no page charge. Authors should review the applicable publishing agreement before acceptance and confirm permitted reuse or repository posting with the Editorial Office. Availability of the final article PDF is confirmed during production.
