Characterizations of Metric (Sub)Regularity via (Sub)Transversality

Abstract

We obtain some classical characterizations of metric regularity and subregularity in a new and unified way using results for transversality and subtransversality from a recent paper by S. Apostolov, M. Bivas, and N. Ribarska [Characterizations of some transversality-type properties, Set-Valued Var. Analysis 30/3 (2022), art.no. 1041-1060] and the equivalence between (sub)transversality and (sub)regularity.
